I have to admit, I was a bit nervous. Diving a wreck requires extra care. But the team at **Amadive** was absolutely professional. Their PADI instructors provided a very thorough safety briefing. We discussed our safety procedures, the history of the sunken ship, and what we would see. Being in a small group immediately made me feel confident.

Going down was surreal. At first, it's a shadow in the distance, and then the wreck came into view. It is massive. The ship is now a bustling artificial Vietnam snorkeling reef, draped in soft corals and swarming with fish. We saw giant groupers hiding from the cargo hold, and lionfish patrolling the superstructure. That feeling of gliding alongside this giant, silent vessel is indescribable—haunting, beautiful, and humbling at the same time. It truly is a time capsule on the seabed.

For any a certified diver visiting Con Dao and seeking something more the standard reef, I cannot recommend this **Con Dao wreck dive** highly enough. It was the absolute highlight of my diving trip.
